The Netherlands international has told the Rotterdam giants that he wants to move to the Enschede side and will not pen a new deal in De Kuip
Feyenoord's Leroy Fer has remarked that he has no intention of signing a new deal with the Rotterdam outfit, as he has set his sights on a move to Eredivisie rivals Twente.
The Netherlands international has a contract until the summer of 2012 and Feyenoord are keen to hold on to the 21-year-old, however, the holding midfielder is disappointed with the club's lack of ambition and wants to move elsewhere.
"I have been very clear; I will not sign a new deal, even if I don't find a new club this summer. It would be in Feyenoord's best interest if they sold me to Twente now," Fer was quoted as saying by NUsport.
"My contract expires in 2012 and this is their chance to earn a few million. I wouldn't let this opportunity get away if I were Feyenoord. I want to remain in the Netherlands and I think Twente are the perfect next step for me."
Feyenoord recently turned down Twente's €2.5 million offer for Fer, but Algemeen Dagblad reports that the KNVB Beker winners currently have no intention of increasing their offer, leaving the player's future unclear.
