Stoke City Join Bayern Munich In Race To Sign Wantaway Wigan Athletic Winger Charles N'Zogbia - Report

Stoke City are believed to be plotting a move to sign Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia.

The Frenchman was heavily tipped to leave the Latics during the summer, with the club even agreeing to a deal with Birmingham City. But with the player unable to see eye-to-eye with the Blues, the transfer failed to materialise.

But the 24-year-old has since hinted that he could make a move away from the club, with Bayern Munich reported to be interested in acquiring his services.

Now The Mirror reports that the Potters have entered the fray and are looking to make a move for the winger in January.

And it is thought that a player plus cash offer, which could include unsettled Stoke forward Tuncay Sanli, could be in the offing to secure the services of the former Newcastle United midfielder.

N'Zogbia has also been linked with a move to Olympique Marseille.
