France Coach Laurent Blanc Tells Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa To Be 'Patient' With Leg Injury Recovery

France boss Laurent Blanc is urging Newcastle star Hatem Ben Arfa to be patient in regards to recovering from his serious leg injury.

Ben Arfa will be on the sidelines for several months, after receiving a dangerous tackle from Manchester City midfielder Nigel De Jong, which broke both bones in his right leg.

As a consequence, De Jong has been reportedly dropped by Dutch coach Bert Van Marwijk.

"I think his injury is serious enough that it will require patience," Blanc told AFP. "It is a shame because when you arrive at a new club in a new league, it takes time to adapt.

"It is not easy, and when you are severely injured, it is even more difficult. I send him my best for a good recovery."

Les Bleus take on Romania and Luxembourg over the next week in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.
