Kaizer Chiefs Striker Knowledge Musona Out For A Few Games

‘Mr. Goals’, as he is affectionately known, was beginning to show some glimpses of brilliance, but sustained a cut on his knee when he was pushed over by Morgan Gould, colliding with an advertising board when the Glamour Boys lost 2-0 to SuperSport United on Wednesday.

“The stitches on his knee will be removed in 10 days time. He is definitely out for the upcoming three games. It is a blow for the team to lose the services of Musona but we are hopeful that he will bounce back in the next two weeks,” said the team’s head coach, Vladimir Vermezovic, on the club’s website.

Musona had scored two goals in the last four games, and it is a big loss for the Amakhosi at a time when they are already struggling with results and form.
