Carnell missed the League game against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium recently due to a tendon injury but the former Bidvest Wits defender has since made a full recovery and expected to be fit for the next League game against AmaZulu on October 16.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Carnell said he welcomed the short break in the League and said it was a blessing in disguise as it afforded him time to regain full fitness before their next fixture against Usuthu.
"I am now okay and have started to attend full time training. I am fortunate that there are no League games at the moment and this will give me more enough time to work on my full fitness," he said.
