Roma Move Would Be Perfect For Nikola Zigic - Agent

Valencia striker Nikola Zigic is eyeing up a move to Serie A, with Roma leading the chase for his signature, according to his agent.

Milan Calasan, the agent in question, explained to Calciomercato.it that Zigic is expecting to change clubs in January and would be happy to solve the Giallorossi's attacking problems.

"I know that Roma like Nikola, but until now no one from the Giallorossi has contacted either myself or Valencia," he revealed.

"But I'm sure that Zigic will switch clubs in January if a good offer arrives from a club that has at least as much prestige as Valencia.

"He isn't interested in playing at a small club - for me, Roma represents the ideal solution for him, and Italian football would also be an excellent option.

"For the moment, however, no such proposal has arrived."

Calasan added that a loan move was out of the question, due to los Che's financial problems. This could present a problem for Roma, who are also in the monetary mire, but president Rosella Sensi has previously hinted that there is money available to spend in January.

"A loan until the end of the season? No, I think that the club are only willing to take offers for his ownership into consideration, but I don't want to talk about figures.

"I can only say that with the crises going around, the price should be convenient for everyone and not too high. Many teams have called me in the past - we are open to any possibility, albeit with one eye on Italy."
