Real Madrid's Iker Casillas: Let's Attack Barcelona

Real Madrid 'keeper Iker Casillas has issued a rallying call to his team-mates, telling them not to hold back when they travel to the Camp Nou to face Barcelona this weekend.

"We aren't going to the Camp Nou to wait for them," he reasoned to Marca.

"We are going to play as we have done until now - sometimes well, sometimes badly - with no fear. We are going to attack, to try and win and to cover their most important players, but not at any expense - we must worry about ourselves."

Many have talked about Sunday's game as a clash of approaches, with the efficiency of Real Madrid coming up against the style of Barcelona. The champions have even been labelled as the 'Ferrari' of the Primera Division, but Casillas is unconcerned after los Blancos recently overtook Barca at the top of the league.

"I see Barcelona doing well, but luckily I see them in the rear-view mirror," he noted. "They are a team who play football well, who will equip themselves in numbers against Real Madrid. It's sure to be an exciting match."

Blaugrana stars Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are still rated as doubtful for the clash, while Cristiano Ronaldo has recently returned from almost six weeks out on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Despite the problems, the Spanish international 'keeper believes that the next Clasico will be one of the most evenly balanced in recent times.

"Barcelona have the advantage, because they are playing at home and that always gives a little extra, but we have gone back to being leaders and that means we have been doing well," he said.

"I think it will be very exciting - from what I know, it will be one of the most evenly balanced, certainly since I have been in the Primera Division."
