Real Madrid's Guti learns English, could move to either Manchester United or Manchester City - report

Real Madrid midfielder Guti is apparently learning English ahead of a possible move to the Premier League, with Manchester City and Manchester United set to compete for the player's signature.

The Daily Mail reports that Real have slapped a £4 million price tag on the 33-year-old, who has reportedly fallen out with coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Spanish tabloid AS claims that both Manchester clubs would like to utlilise Guti's experience, and neither sees Madrid's asking price as high, even for a player approaching his mid-thirties.

The midfielder currently has a thigh strain, but has not played for Real since their 4-0 cup defeat by third division Alcorcon in October, when he apparently had a blazing row with Pellegrini.

Guti has also been linked with a move to the Middle East, but the English lessons would seem to indicate he would like one final challenge in a major European league.
