Fulham managed to rescue a deserved point thanks to a Damien Duff equaliser 15 minutes from time against Bolton Wanderers.
Striker Erik Nevland nicely set up the Irishman for a sweet, right-footed shot from outside the area.
And from that moment on, until the final whistle, Bolton were hanging on for the draw.
Clint Dempsey and Damien Duff both wasting opportunities to seal victory for the Cottagers with attempts off target.
The home side had begun the afternoon the brightest with efforts from Paul Konchesky and Clint Dempsey in the opening quater of an hour failing to hit the target.
The game then deteriorated a little with many free-kicks for both sides as they struggled to threaten each other's goal.
However, in the 35th minute, Bolton broke the deadlock. Gary Cahill nodded the ball perfectly into the path of Ivan Klasnic and the Croatian placed it perfectly into the back of Mark Schwarzer's net.
Bolton were rarely under threat as they comfortably kept the home side at bay up until half-time.
The second-half was a different story, though, with Fulham trying to get back into the game but Wanderers were repelling all efforts, either through blocked shots or the ever-alert Jaaskelainen.
That was until Duff's late intervention.
