Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has been discharged from hospital following successful heart surgery.
The Rovers boss underwent an angioplasty on Friday.
Blackburn assistant boss Neil McDonald said: "I'm told he is on schedule for next week as expected and hopefully we will see him then."
It is still not clear whether Allardyce will be on the bench for Wednesday's Carling Cup clash with Chelsea.
