Barcelona select squad numbers for Arda & Vidal

Arda Turan will wear the No.7 shirt for Barcelona, while Aleix Vidal has been handed No.22, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The report claims that the pair, who have not yet been officially registered due to the club’s transfer ban, will be registered next week once the sanction has been lifted.

The No.7 jersey was last worn by Pedro, who left to join Chelsea in a £21 million deal in August. David Villa and Luis Figo are also two key names to have won the number for Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Vidal takes the No.22 shirt which was vacated by Dani Alves after the Brazilian took over the No.6 shirt from Xavi at the start of the season.
