Caretaker-manager Brian Flynn has revealed the door is open for Robbie Savage to make a return to the Wales squad.
The Derby midfielder has not represented his nation since 2004 after falling out of favour with former boss John Toshack.
But, while he was overlooked for the forthcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland, Flynn has hinted he could call upon the 35-year-old in the future.
Flynn said in the Daily Mail: "He offered his services. I have since spoken to Robbie and explained the situation to him.
"After these two games, who knows? My door is open and my phone is on 24 hours."
