Salvatore Aronica: Napoli Need To Keep Their Feet On The Ground

Napoli defender Salvatore Aronica has urged his side to keep their concentration and their feet on the ground, after victory at home to Roma at the weekend saw the Partenopei climb to third place in Serie A.

A second half goal from Slovak star Marek Hamsik and an own goal set up a memorable night in Naples for the Azzurri.

"We won a great victory, It was great for all our fans. Our objectives are now very differenct from last year," Aronica told Napoli.net.

"We must keep our feet on the ground, because it is a difficult championship. We knew of Roma's ability and tradition but the desire to do well was a greater weapon.

The 32-year-old centre-back was questioned about his challenge against Roma captain Francesco Totti, who has had his leadership skills challenged in recent weeks.

"He is an important and very good player," concluded Aronica.
