Inter Lost Because They Are Scared Of Barcelona - Alessandro Altobelli

Former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli has exclusively told that the Nerazzurri's downfall against Barcelona in the Champions League was due to fear.

Qualification to the last 16 is now hanging by a thread for the Nerazzurri after their shambolic performance in the Camp Nou.

We spoke to the great to get his exclusive insight as to why Jose Mourinho's ship leaked in Spain.

"It was a really bad loss with Barcelona. I saw an Inter side who were scared," Altobelli told.

"They just couldn't play in the way they know best. I think it's a mentality question.

"Barcelona did well because Inter played so badly. We must not exaggerate Barcelona's success - they hardly set Europe alight before playing Inter," added the Italian.

"Inter must remember they are a great team. Once they overcome the mental barrier then they will be able to do well."
