Milan have discovered a theme to sign Pedro Leon from Real Madrid and CEO Adriano Galliani will lead the charge, according to Sportal.it.
Reports from Spain over the weekend said Leon had come under the Rossoneri's view, with Marca claiming the midfielder's time at the Bernabeu was up.
And Milan will use their Champions League clash against Madrid on October 19 to open up dialogue ahead of the January transfer window.
Galliani appears interested in the former Getafe ace and he will take the first steps towards bringing him to Milanello.
"If Real Madrid want to speak then I will try to get him," Galliani told the press on Saturday.
