Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli has laughed off concerns over Inter's current crisis, insisting that they are still a quality side that will cause the Viola problems when they travel to San Siro tomorrow.
"I don't think Inter are in difficulties," he announced in a press conference.
"We will find a team that want to show that Tuesday's game was a one-off. We know that it will be like this, but I've always said that even the big sides can give you the chance of doing something important. We will have the opportunity and we must take advantage of it.
"From a tactical point of view, it's a difficult match to prepare for. At this time we don't know how they will play, with which formation and with which players. As a result we will have to go to Milan and play our game, not that of our opponents."
Prandelli also reflected on the Viola's qualification in the Champions League, but insists that he doesn't want the team to think that they have gone as far as they can and hopes they can build on their achievement.
"We must think that what we have done is not our objective, but a starting point. I don't want the majority of the players to think that they have already achieved everything, that would be a huge mistake. We want to give continuity to our play and our mentality, only in this way can we improve."
There have been debates this week over the chants by Juventus fans towards Inter's Mario Balotelli, and both the Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti and captain Javier Zanetti have announced that if these are repeated, they will call for the game to be stopped.
When Prandelli was asked what the course of action would be if there is a similar problem from Fiorentina fans, he was in agreement with Moratti and Zanetti.
"I agree with Moratti. In any case, we would stop the play. If the club are in agreement to do this, I would be the first to support it."
