I Want To See An Aggressive Palermo Against Chievo – Coach Delio Rossi

After having started with a bang with Palermo’s 4-1 victory over Reggina in the Coppa Italia in midweek, new coach Delio Rossi is demanding further aggression as the Rosanero prepare for their first league game under the Rimini born tactician.

“I’m still in a diagnostic phase as I look to understand what tools I have to work with,” he declared to Corriere dello Sport.

“We have already undergone our ‘baptism of fire’ following the cup match with Reggina. Now we must test our metal against a side in the top flight.

“[Mimmo] Di Carlo’s Chievo worked miracles last season and they are an extremely organised outfit. They are a tough side to beat and have started well this season, so we must be prepared to roll our sleeves up on Sunday.”
