Atalanta Fans Demand Results From Antonio Conte After Coppa Italia Shock

Atalanta fans have warned coach Antonio Conte that they will not accept any more humiliations after the Nerazzurri were knocked out in the fourth round of the Coppa Italia.

The Serie A side tumbled out of the competition after a 1-0 home defeat to Lumezzane, who play in the third tier of Italian football.

Home fans were furious after the match and demanded a meeting with Conte to show their anger at their early exit.

According to Il Romanista, fans told Conte that, "on Sunday against Roma, and in the future, we don't want any more poor performances."

Atalanta are not the only Serie A side to go out of the competition early on. Siena suffered a home defeat to Novara on Wednesday, while Parma, Bologna, Cagliari and Bari all lost in the third round.

Atalanta have the chance to atone for the defeat when they host Claudio Ranieri's Roma at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia on Sunday.
