Moroka Swallows Midfielder Ramahlwe Mphahlele Hoping To Impress South Africa Coach Pitso Mosimane

The Moroka Swallows defender-cum-midfielder is looking forward to leaving a lasting impression in the Final against Orlando Pirates, particularly on Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane.

"It is not impossible to get a Bafana Bafana call-up while playing for Swallows, but a Final is also a great chance to showcase what you can offer your country. It is a big chance for me," he said to Kickoff.com.

"I'm 20 and it is my second cup Final after the Nedbank Cup last year so I'm very happy. Slowly but surely I'm progressing and I want to realise my dream of playing for Bafana Bafana and the Final is the kind of game where all eyes are going to be and for younger players like myself for you to be selected it is good when you are involved in games like these one," he stated.

Mphahlele, a former Under-20 captain, further says the underdog tag will suit the Dube Birds just fine.

"We are the underdogs because people never even gave us a chance to be in the Final. People were talking about how Ajax Cape Town is a good team, that they were going to beat us and all that and it is the same now but we are going to this Final looking to win the trophy. People will talk, but we have to be strong mentally."
