Deportivo La Coruna coach Miguel Angel Lotina insists that he will not resign despite his side suffering a humiliating 6-1 defeat by Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Spanish Primera Division on Sunday evening.
The Galicians are currently at the bottom of the league table with just three points and without a win. However, coach Lotina says that he will not step down from his post.
"No," Lotina is quoted as saying by larioja.com when asked whether he was thinking of resigning. "Many (Deportivo fans) will not go to sleep. We lack confidence but I am convinced that we are going to get out of this situation.
"As bad as we are, we are just two points below the relegation zone (Levante in 17th have five points)."
