Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue has warned his side they must keep Chelsea striker Didier Drogba under control if they are to emerge from this afternoon’s confrontation at the Emirates victorious.
Carlo Ancelotti brings his team to north London this afternoon for a hotly anticipated clash with Eboue admitting he is confident his side can taste victory.
“We can win the game and I am confident we can announce our title credentials,” he told skysports.com.
However, in order to do so the defender warned his Gunners they must cope with Drogba, a player he believes is the “best striker in the world”.
The Ivorian has bagged nine Premier League goals for the Blues already this season and Eboue knows he could be the man to make the difference.
He added: "Chelsea are a very good team with so many good players, but we also have a lot of players who are on the same level.
"Drogba is my captain in my national team and for me he is the best striker in the world.
"He is on top because he has not had an injury this season and hopefully he will stay like that until June when we will have the World Cup.”
A win for Arsenal today would see them close the gap on Chelsea to five points with a game in hand, however the last time the west Londoners visited the Emirates they departed 4-1 winners back in May.
