Sevilla Boss Jimenez Bemoans Malaga Draw

Sevilla wasted an opportunity to put pressure on the leaders by failing to beat Malaga, and Manolo Jimenez was left ruing the result.

A second half double from Luis Fabiano ensured that Sevilla earned a share of the spoils, after Malaga had scored twice in the first half. Speaking to Marca after the game, Jimenez said, "We created ten chances."

"Malaga played well, and took both their opportunities. They fouled a lot, so there was no rhythm.

"We lost a great opportunity to close the gap on Barcelona and Real Madrid."

Jimenez then spoke about Alvaro Negredo's failure to find the back of the net, continuing, "He will score soon."

"Luis Fabiano scored twice, and Negredo could easily have done so also."
