Chelsea are leading the chase for Lokomotiv Moscow attacker Oumar Niasse, according to Russian broadcaster Match TV.
Niasse has impressed during his time in the Russian capital, recording 13 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this term.
His form is believed to have compelled Guus Hiddink to bid for the 25-year-old in the January transfer window.
Niasse, who played in Turkey and Norway before moving to Russia, could be available for as little as €5 million, though it is thought that Lokomotiv would hold out for a higher fee.
Indeed, Everton and Aston Villa interest may drive the asking price up, with the pair ready to compete with Chelsea for the Senegalese.
Either of the former would be able to guarantee Niasse more chances of first-team football, should the player move to the Premier League.
