Wrong direction: Policeman swears at Bale!

Gareth Bale is used to life in the fast lane down Real Madrid's flanks, but he incurred the wrath of a policeman on Wednesday night as he moved at a more pedestrian pace outside the Bernabeu.

The Welshman, who has scored six goals and made three assists in his last five La Liga outings, was pulling out of the stadium in his car after Madrid's 3-1 win over Real Sociedad when he made a wrong turning.

With the roads reopened after the match, Bale was asked to turn right by the road marshal but, in his confusion, ended up taking a left turn.

The policeman was then heard cursing out loud "not that way, f***", in despair, with Bale finally grasping his request and making the right turn.

It's not the first time the 26-year-old has been involved in an incident involving his car. Last season, several supporters attacked his vehicle in anger after Madrid's defeat to Barcelona in March.
