Fiorentina midfielder Adem Ljajic has revealed his disappointment about missing a penalty, which would have levelled the match at 2-2 against Palermo.
The 19-year-old says he "feels sick" about not converting his opportunity from the penalty spot.
"I feel horrible after having missed a chance to score," Ljajic was reported as saying to Fiorentinanews.com. "I know that I have disappointed many people, and there are others who say I am not worthy to wear the Fiorentina jersey.
"I want to thank those who are supporting me and who believe in me, as it will help me to become better in the future.
"I feel sick after missing the penalty," he said.
The match ended in a 2-1 win to the Sicilian side.
