Italy coach Cesare Prandelli expects Antonio Cassano to continue his new beginnings with la Nazionale this week.
"He has grown up a lot, above all thanks to his wife – he has got married and found a balance off the pitch," Prandelli told UEFA.com
There are also big plans for Mario Balotelli, currently recovering from a knee injury.
"I think they have the quality, and to work with players who are supposed to be difficult is challenging. But I treat them in a professional way," added Prandelli, suggesting equality is the theme of the dressing room. And his emphasis remains on youth.
"It's very interesting to integrate young players into the national team and see them wear the Italy shirt for many years," he added.
Prandelli also spoke with the press at Coverciano on Monday and he explained the recall of Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta.
"Zambrotta's inclusion? There aren't many 20 somethings like him around," he joked.
But the important point was to rekindle their relationship with success after a botched attempt at winning the World Cup under Marcello Lippi.
"We have to find the right enthusiasm and give the satisfaction to the people."
Meanwhile there was some frustrating news teamwise. Alberto Gilardino and Luca Antonelli are reportedly injured and could leave the group, claim Sky Sport Italia.
That problem was later confirmed by Prandelli who said: "Gilardino has a problem and he is in doubt for Friday."
Italy travel to Northern Ireland on Friday before hosting Serbia four days later.
