Tight Security For Moses Mabhida Stadium Opener

“It’s it going to be one of the most thrilling games in the PSL (Premier Soccer League) this season and we have a strong security force in place to ensure that it remains and incident free event,” Usuthu PRO Philani Mabaso told KickOff.com.

Mabaso says entertainment activities are lined up for the occasion but warned fans that there will be security both on and off the stadium.

“There will be 500 security personnel, more than 450 Saps members and an additional 100 Metro police. Fans without tickets should not come near the stadium as the match is already sold out and only fans with tickets will be allowed in,” he said.

Mabaso announced that, apart from Myron Shongwe, the Usuthu camp is carrying no injuries ahead of the match.

“We have no suspensions and only one injury, Shongwe. The players are all geared up and excited at the prospect of being part of this historic event. Another important thing for us is to get the three points on offer," he said.
