John Terry: Chelsea are yet to hit 'top gear' in Champions League

Chelsea defeated Porto at the Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday evening by a slim 1-0 scoreline to take their points tally to 13 after five rounds of Champions League group action.

However, Blues skipper John Terry has conceded that the west London outfit are yet to hit "top gear" in the competition, despite keeping a third clean sheet in Europe.

"We haven't hit top gear in Europe yet," the England defender explained to This Is London. "There is still more to come from us," he added.

"The momentum, the way we're playing and the confidence can only take us in one direction and that's forward.

"We can work better and will find solutions from where we've gone wrong.

"We will regroup after the group stage and look forward to the draw, although it looks like there could be a difficult draw because there will be a number of big teams finishing second," concluded the captain.

Chelsea's final group game is at home against Apoel Nicosia, who are bottom of Group D with two points.
