Jonathan Moreira set to sign for Inter

The Brazilian defender will soon complete a switch to the Italian giants after passing a medical with the club

Santos right-back Jonathan Moreira is all set to complete a move to Inter, the player's agent has
claimed.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a switch to Inter for the past couple of weeks as the Italian club look to bolster their defence ahead of the new season.

Reports in Italy have suggested that Jonathan's agent, Jeiki Tadic, flew to Italy on Tuesday to proceed with negotiations for the player, who will cost Inter €5 million.

Tadic has now indicated that talks between the two clubs are almost complete and that his client will rubberstamp a contract with Inter in the coming days.

"Negotiations are well advanced. We have not signed anything, but I think it is 95 per cent done," Tadic told Lancenet.

"Since it is weekend, Jonathan should travel on Monday or Tuesday to undergo a medical and sign a contract."
