Sunderland Keeping Tabs On €6m-Rated Almeria Forward Kalu Uche - Report

Sunderland are believed to be keeping tabs on Almeria striker Kalu Uche, with a view to move for the player in January.

The 27-year-old starred for Nigeria and scored twice - against South Korea and Greece - in the 2010 World Cup, and was tipped to make a move away from the Spanish club at the time.

However, he remained to ply his trade at the Primera Division club, and recently scored twice in the last two games for his side.

Now talkSPORT reports that the Black Cats' scouts were present to watch the forward during the recent game against Malaga, in which he played and scored for Almeria.

Uche, rated at €6 million, has in the past been linked with moves to Fulham, Fenerbahce, and Hull City.
