Chelsea striker Didier Drogba insists that his side are feeling "strong" ahead of the blockbuster encounter against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Ivory Coast international believes that the current squad is comparable to the one that won back-to-back Premier League titles under Jose Mourinho.
"'It is a bit like that [team]," he said on the club's official website.
"You feel strong even before you come out on to the pitch and when the team is losing or conceding goals, we keep believing in our chances.
"Even in Porto we didn't play our best but still we created chances and ended up top of our [Champions League] group, so this is a good season for us.
"We feel strong, that is the most important thing. I knew this season would be good for me."
The 31-year-old praised the Gunners for their positive style of play, and explained that the high-profile clash will be a good one for the neutrals.
"Arsenal has the kind of spirit like us as well and I think it is going to be a good game to watch," he said.
"We need to maintain the gap [at the top]. If we win it is difficult for them to come back but it is not impossible."
