Jomo Cosmos' Woes Continue With Fresh Injury Blow

Cosmos have won only one game of the 17 they have played so far this season and Camara has netted on five occasions.

Team doctor Simon Nyase told KickOff.com that this is the third time the striker has dislocated his shoulder and they want him to have the best treatment as a result.

“It is very unfortunate, we tried to get it back into place at the stadium, but we failed. We needed to go to a hospital and then sedate him before we could get the shoulder back into place.

“We are taking him to a specialist now, but unfortunately he will be out for six weeks.”

Nyase added that Camara has not had the best of luck this season, as earlier in the campaign, when they were playing against Santos, he dislocated his right elbow, the same side as his shoulder injury.

“We are now just trying to find out what exactly is wrong with him because such injuries do not occur just like that.

“Once we discover the real problem, solving the injury will be easy. We are hoping, however, that he will recover in the next six weeks,” Nyase added.
