Juventus helping Sassuolo beat Chelsea and Atletico to Argentine teenager

Sassuolo could sign Rosario Central starlet Giovani Lo Celso with financial backing from Juventus, thus beating off competition from Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

The Neroverdi are out to steal the 19-year-old, who already commands an asking price of €10 million, from under the noses of other interested parties by setting up a meeting with Rosario.

Chelsea have already baulked at Lo Celso's valuation, with Sassuolo only overcoming the high transfer fee with help from Juventus.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is said to be convinced of Lo Celso's potential and willing to back a move by the Serie A minnows for the attacking midfielder.

The Italian champions will do so with a view to arranging a clause that will allow them to enjoy first rights to the player later on in his career should he prove a hit upon moving to the Italian top-flight.

Juventus have a good relationship in place with Sassuolo that has allowed them to farm out their youngsters to develop with the Mapei outfit before buying them back permanently.

Current Bianconeri striker Simone Zaza spent last season on loan with Eusebio De Francesco's men before completing a move back to Turin in the summer, with present Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi tipped to follow in those footsteps next June.
